Your membership enables The Friends to support educational programming on vital topics, and to sponsor special events at Halibut Point State Park.
The history of the property formerly known as Babson Farm, along with the granite quarry and the WWII coastal defense fire control tower (now repurposed as the Visitor Center) offers numerous educational opportunities at Halibut Point. Natural elements, from wildflowers and native plants, tide pools and marine life, to migratory and year-round birds, add another dimension of interpretive study at this diverse property.
The Friends thank you for your patronage, and hopes that you will join us for programs as Halibut Point continues to evolve and grow. Preservation of Halibut Point's special features will remain fundamental for future generations of stewards of this unique landmark.
